In a nutshell
  • Qover wins the PICCASO Award for best privacy program, highlighting its comprehensive, company-wide approach to data protection.
  • Recognition driven by strong PIMS & ISO 27701 certification, a robust compliance framework and fast GDPR-compliant data subject request handling.
  • AI governance integrated into all initiatives, preparing Qover for upcoming EU AI Act requirements.

Qover, a leader in embedded insurance orchestration, was recognised with the ‘Best Privacy Program’ at the PICCASO Awards Europe 2025, highlighting Qover’s structured and future-ready privacy program.

The jury praised Qover’s holistic approach to privacy, built into every layer of the company. The program shapes how Qover designs products, builds tech and governs AI, moving well beyond simply ticking compliance boxes.

Key initiatives include:

  • Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) & ISO 27701: the company built a formal privacy framework to protect the interests of both partners and their customers. Backed by ISO 27701 certification, it includes clear internal controls, mapped data flows and regular reviews of third-party vendors.
  • Data Protection Compliance Framework (DPCF): this structure ensures external accountability and internal consistency. It features multilingual templates for data subject requests, role-based privacy training and robust breach management procedures.
  • Data Subject Request (DSR) handling: in 2024, the team achieved full GDPR compliance for data subject requests and consistently resolved rectification requests within three business days.
  • AI governance: privacy risk assessments are integrated into every AI initiative. These assessments align with upcoming EU AI Act requirements, making governance a natural part of product development.

Angeliki Tiligadi, Qover’s Head of Privacy & AI Governance, receives the PICCASO award.
Quentin Colmant, CEO & Co-founder of Qover, said: ‘This award recognises the discipline and care our teams bring to privacy every day. From the way we build products to how we train teams, privacy is embedded in everything we do. We’re proud to be recognised by the PICCASO Foundation, which plays an important role in setting the bar for responsible data practices across Europe.’

Angeliki Tiligadi, Head of Privacy & AI Governance Officer at Qover, Data Protection Officer, added: ‘We’ve built a practical, operational model. Privacy isn’t an afterthought, it’s embedded across every project. And the results speak for themselves: faster response times, stronger governance and greater confidence from stakeholders.’

Looking ahead, Qover will continue scaling its PIMS framework and strengthening AI governance.
